Located on the outskirts of Konoha, in a small ground depression, this large monument is a memorial to the late Sandaime Hokage. This memorial overlooks the graves of other ninja who fell in battle like the Third's son Asuma.

A very harsh training area, surrounded by a fence with 44 gates. It is 10 kilometers in diameter, with a tower in the middle and a river crossing through. Many types of dangerous predators live within.

The river that crosses Konoha and serves for its water source finds a small depression here, forming a lake. It flows on from the other end of this large, almost-static expanse it has formed here. The shores are rich in humidity-loving vegetation.

Located approximately 12 kilometers from Konoha is Otafuku City, home of the Fun Fun Street kanrakugai (pleasure quarter). Its main purpose is to host travelers and it is marked by many hotels and entertainment venues. The crowds make it seem like a fair is going on at all times.

A village just off the road to Konoha, well-known for its hot springs. Advertisements say it heals fatigue and is good for one's beauty... They also seem to have mixed bathing. Travelers can rent rooms or have their stuff safeguarded at Fukumaru Inn, and there's even a pachinko parlor. The most prominent landmark in the village's proximity, a place known as "Three Cedars Behind the Mountain", is often used as a meeting spot.

This is the nearest city in the Konoha area, located in a ground depression. It is considerably bigger and more crowded than any village, of course, and one can find almost anything here.

People come here with one sole purpose: to gamble. This town is full of casinos and other such establishments for those who are feeling lucky.

Surrounded by a circular fortified wall, Tanzaku Gai is the location of the historic Tanzaku castle. Watching over the city, the gigantic castle stood for many years and is now being rebuilt after its destruction by a giant snake. The city was left untouched and is open to anyone.

This temple is home to specially trained monks. One such monk was Chiriku, one of the daimyou's Twelve Guardians. The temple was later destroyed by Akatsuki, it is unclear if it will be rebuilt.

This modern abandoned city is the base of operations for the supply shop of the woman known as the Elder Cat. She and her ninja cats have long operated this shop which was used by the Uchiha Clan.

This desolate place was once a small town home to just over thirty people. The charred shells of what used to be houses line ruined roads, and twisted trees stand guard over the remains of yards and fences.
