No New Posts Kirigakure no Sato (Village Hidden in the Mist)

The village of Kiri is the infamous place of origin of the Seven Swordsmen. Also, its inhabitants can be rather withdrawn and exclusive in their isolationism. It is unknown if the country has any current alliances. Mist has drawn the country into many wars in the past. The citizens of the country blamed the constant strife on the powerful clan bloodlines in the region. For that reason they turned against the clans and wiped many of them out.

When Raiga and other Mist Hunter-Nins came to the village looking for a spy, they wiped out many of the village citizens. Ranmaru was spared from Raiga's crazed slaughter however.

No New Posts Roads & Bridges

Being composed of several islands, the Land of Water sports just as many long connection bridges as roads. Following a marked path is advisable, or you may get lost through the mist and just wander in the wrong direction.

Serving as borders for the Land of Water are only the shores of islands. But do not be fooled, border guards hide craftily among fishermen and those who offer transport by boats.

Mizu no Kuni - Land of Water
The Water country has a strong ninja force and, being only a small island, it can be easily defended against outside threats. The greatest threats to the country seem to come from within, constant wars and strife causing many citizens and ninja to turn against themselves and the country leadership.
