I'm pretty excited. I can't believe this time came so fucking soon!! I feel like I still have weeks to go before my departure! Alas, the time has come. =P

Now... I haven't packed a blessed thing yet, and I only have four and a half hours--less, even, to get everything together, so, I must go. I'll try to report to you all daily!

Katty's blog 2: Arrival!

Ahh, it's Farrah's turn to forward the lazy kitty's emails. XD Just because you're all westcoast, doesn't mean we're your slaves. =P Kidding, kidding.

It's currently around 8:30Pm here in CA. I'm much too lazy to check. -.-;;

The plane was okay. It was so funny at one point at an airport. My uncle mumbled something that sounded like, "I'm gonna go find some chicks," and then walked off. my aunt and I laughed so hard, because she heard the same thing I did. When he came back, my aunt asked, "Did you find any?" he nodded and pointed at a restroom sign. "It's a man/woman," he added. We nearly died from laughing so hard.

There was no sign of a Starbucks at our first airport-- the one where it was around 6:00am Eastern Time. -_-; In the end, we ended up going to Duncan Donuts. Let me tell you one thing-- the Caramel Latte Lite that I had was great.

Well, after our flying fun, we ended up in our destination airport-- Oakland International Airlines (Or something like that). Everything was found and claimed. Everything, that is, except MY suitcase! >>

The people at the airport said it was still in Denver, Colorado. Whoop-de-fuking-do. >.>;;

They said they'd bring it around nine tonight, but, it's almost nine now, and there's still no sign of it. ><

Uncle Jeff said we'd check it out tomorrow.

Oh! Guess what I'm writing to you on. The mini-laptop my cousin got me!! I was so surprised! This is great! There's only two downsides--
1) He has to update the flash player before I can go on youtube or anything like that

2) The keyboard's small and hurts like hell to type this much on. ^^;

Subject: You know what to do, Britler! ^^ California Travel Log: The grass is all tan-ish...

I found Britler's email and added it to my address book, so, now she can do my dirty work. Well, that make you radiate even more specialness, right, Brit? XD Still not as much as me, though. =P [Good, now I don't have to do it. ^^]

Well, right now, it's 3:14 PM in California...Pacific Standard Time, I believe that would be.

I decided to sneak onto my cousin's big laptop now while he's at work so that I can type faster than on my little thingie. =P Still, I'm happy to have it.

Today, we didn't really do anything. Or at least, I didn't.

I woke up at 11:30 PM, which, back at home, would be 2:30 PM. We went to Ihop or whatever for breakfast... The pancakes were good. -.-;;

After that, we went to WalMart. >> Isn't it great to know that wherever you are, there's a WalMart following you? Stalker-ish store chain, no?

Everyone that knows me here addresses me as "Marianne." Seriously, people! No one calls me that anymore! Gah. >> I suppose you can't teach your family new tricks?

Last night, my suitcase didn't arrive. Oh noes! I had to borrow my Aunt's pajamas...Weird. -_-; I also had to wear some of her clothes today. Thank God, my suitcase finally came in about an hour ago. *Sigh* It's good to be back in my own clothes and know that I have my own pajamas for tonight. ^^

My Aunt called my grandmother to check up on her dog. My grandmother said that when she tried to feed one of the carrots that my Aunt gave her to the dog, she didn't eat it. "No, no, no! You're supposed to cook the carrots, put a *Little* butter on it, cut it up into tiny pieces, put it on a paper plate, *THEN* feed it to the dog."

...Wow.

Well, when we were on the road today, I looked into the horizon and saw the hills. Beautiful... They looked like they were covered in desert sand, which reminded me of Naruto Verse, so, I decided to log on and lurk. Seriously, though! -.-; The grass is all tan-ish and dry! >> I'm not used to tan grass! At home, as you all know, the grass is either green, or non-existent. [That's because people around here don't have anything better to do then water their lawn. XD]

Well, I guess I'll get off now. My cousin's home, so I'll give him back his laptop. ^^;

Nothing else really happened today, anyway.

A few days ago, we went to see Hellboy II. It was great. xD

We went to the bookstore, too. I forget if I reported that In my last log or not. -_-; I bought Loveless Volume 2 and Fullmetal Alchemist Volume 1.

After that...we really didn't do much for a while... We went to WalMart...again... You know, this trip has made me hate WalMart all the more. But I must say, this one's much nicer than the one at home. xD [What? Our WalMart sells guns for Chrissakes! Nothing can be better! XD]

We went shopping today. Fun fun fun. >.>; I hate shopping... Or at least, I hate this kind of shopping. Shopping...for pants.... Oh my God. ><

Well, bitches from school, all my pants this year are from California. Pft. You go and strut around in your...your Pennsylvanian pants....but mine? Mine are special, ftw. PWN. [... No comment. >.>!]

After that, we went to the movies...again... We went to see Batman: Black Knight....in IMAX, FTW. xD It was great. My favorite character was the Joker. xD What a psycho! xD

California is a beautiful state. The trees have fricken' flowers growing on them. xD THAT, is full of win. =P Why can't OUR trees have flowers on them, damn it? It would make PA less of a hell... -_-

We might go to ??Why did the font just randomly change there?! Gay ass computer... Oh. I'm on my Aunt's at the moment. Mine died. ^^; I guess I was on it too long? xD [Abusing your computer, Katty? Tsk, tsk! XD]

Please ignore all spelling errors. If you want more detail than this, your gonna have to IM or call me for it. =P I skipped quite a few funny side-stories.

Hello, everyone that Britler's forwarding this to and Sophia. =D It's currently 11:25pm PST. That means, most of you are lurking on AIM or something like that. xD I haven't reported in a while, because of lack of will to type this email, but, can you blame me? >>; I barely email at all, usually. I much prefer Instant Messenger, so, yeah. Anyway, here's the shtuff I did. And I'll do some hinting in here, too. xD 'Cause I'm sneeeeeeaky like that, ftw. [What's with all the "ftw" love, all of a sudden? XD]

We went to San Francisco the day after I sent my last travel log. It was...quite the trip. xD First, we got on the BART. The BART is a little train thingie that goes fast. x] We were all like, "HOLY SHIT!!" when it took off while we were still standing. >.>;; Then, when we got off the Bart, we went to a little place I like to refer to as "Tourists r us". It was a little building where little touristy hand-outs lay dormant, waiting for us to kidnap them and put them in my Uncle Jeff's Backpack of ubber doom. Otherwise known as the TOURIST PACK. >.> After we left Tourists r Us, we went out to the streets. Ah, San Francisco. The air smelled of pollution and Chinese food. It was the WORST smell on earth, but that's the only way to describe it. Well, we wandered around, and got lost. We ended up on this little back street with a lot of black people on it. There were a lot of beggars, too. So, we go to a little map-on-a-stick, and stand staring at it for like...five minutes? ten?

Then, a magical negro [Yaaay. You actually read "To Kill A Mockingbird" to be using that.. or used a very good spark note site. >.>] that sounded like Bill Cosby appeared!
"Naw, whutrya lookin' fur?" My aunt twitched on the inside-- I just know it.
"Japantown...?"
"Naw, naw! Ya gots to go down four blocks ta Gary! Four blocks to Gary! Then take da bus twelve blocks and it'll take ya folks right to Japantown." My uncle nodded.
"Thank you!"
"No problum!"

We scuttled off in a different direction. Needless to say, we didn't go to Japantown. Tch. My family's too white for a city bus. xD We ended up walking around until we found a Comic Museum. It was really really lame. >.>; Then, after leaving that, we went to a place called the Metreaon...or something spelled like that. There, I came across a little stand-thing called KamiKaze Pop. Guess what it sold.... That's right! Anime/Manga Stuffs!! I bought a Sand Siblings Wall Scroll, a Tsunade Key Chain, a Frog Wallet (Like Naruto Has), and a box of strawberry pocky. =D Yays! After that, we went to an arcade. We played some games and shit. xD It was kinda funny. We won some crappy shit, but, I dun feel like going into detail. Then, we went to the food court, since we were all hungry and shit, and we went to a Noodle Bar. I ordered Ramen. Holy SHIT was that a big bowl!! My God! And it was really good, too.

=D After that, we left the mall and started randomly walking again. We ended up at the "Westfield" mall--a nine-story high mall. We were pretty tired, so we didn't explore much. We just went and got a cupcake and soda. Then, we looked down. *Facepalm* The Bart Station was directly in the bottom part of the mall, so, if we would have just gone up a half a flight of stairs, we would have saved a lot of time. Then again, we wouldn't have met Bill Cosby's reincarnation, either, so, yeah. x] That sums up that day. =P

Day after that: we had a family "fun" day... We hit the road! It was me, Aunt Joanne, Uncle Jeff, and, finally joining us for something, Cousin Joe! =D First, for Joe's sake, we went to the "World's Largest Computer History Museum". It was really a big headache for me. All they talked about was maaaaaaath.... >< After that, we went to Applebee's! =P Joy? Once we ate, we went to "Great America Theme Park". It's kinda like...California's knock off of Hershey. Only no chocolate. =P Thus, making Hershey superior, ne? [And they probably didn't have random walking chocolate bars. "Give Mr. Hershey Bar a hug!" "Hell, no!"] The rides either sucked or were painful for men, if you catch my drift. We left after about an hour. >.> That sums up that day. Oh, and one more thing to mention: My cousin got really pissed off from that day, so, we all suffered. ><

The next day, We went to a mall. To buy more fucking PANTS. >> Damn I hate pants now. We also got a really good cookie there... That's a plus, I guess.

Day Four of this report, we went back to San Francisco. Yays~ This time, we got on the BART for a ride, then, we had to ride the Trolly. Yup. We were on our way to Fisherman's Wharf to the Boudon (sp? ><) Bakery. The line for the trolly was an hour long, and was aggrivating beyond belief. >> Once we got on the Trolly, we rode to the Wharf. In the begining of our ride, my uncle DROPPED THE CAMERA on the road. They had to STOP THE TROLLY for him to GET OUT AND GET IT. He nearly got HIT BY A CAR in the process. How embarrassing, ftw? [o.O;; It's not like you live there... ! XD] Then, we got to the Wharf, said a happy goodbye to the Trolly, and skuttled over to the bakery for some expensive food and shit =P The food was good, especially the bread. xD While there, I ended up pulling an Uncle Jeff and dropped my heavy silver knife [... Do I have to keep telling you that California is NOT Mafia Territory?], and it bouncing to the middle of the floor, clanking loudly, and landing in front of the table of an Asian man and his date. -////- The soda there was really good... After that, we went to the Ghiridelli Chocolate place for some ice cream. I actually didn't like it too much. >> I prefer good ol' Hershey chocolate.

We then went to the next trolly stop, and waited in a line for another hour. Luckily, I called Soph to pass the time. =D Upon getting on, riding, and getting off the trolly, we went back to the Metreon. Of course, I went back to KamiKazi Pop. xD This time, I got a Luna Hat (Zomg~ It makes me look like a kitty~) and a FullMetal Alchemist Necklace (it has the alchemry star on it, ftw.) I also happened to pick up a nine-tailed something-or-other to be mailed to a certain deku in Arizona. xD

The day after that, aka, Today, we went to Santa Cruz. It has a beach and stuff, but, we only went on the boardwalk, so, I don't feel very fulfilled about that. I did some shopping, though. A certain special pebble [It's really sad that my best friends refers to me as a special pebble. o.O], a certain special ninja, and a certain dictator forwarder well have to brace themselves for some shells. *Doubts any of you will decode exactly what your getting.* A certain Jonas obsessor will be getting a neck-full of shells. *Dares you to decode it* Finally, a certain slip of the knot will be getting into a toothy situation. A really sharp one, at that. *Decoding decoding decoding* Well, that's all the hinting I'm gonna do. ^^ Figure it out, bizniches. xD

The road to the beach was horrible. >> I didn't mind it, but, obviously, Aunt Joanne did. >< It was full of twists and turns and a cliff on one side. >> My falling-off-ledges-shy Aunt was screaming and crying the whole way up. -.-;;; I took some really good pictures, though. xDDD

For the record, Ino has pointed out that it's confusing the way I used the phrase, "ftw" in such odd places. xDDD Well, that's purely an inside joke thing.

You see, every time someone asks our friend, Emo, otherwise named Noah, what "ftw" means, he responds, "for the win." xD That makes me laugh, and it's been drilled into my mind to a point where I begin to use it with that meaning, purely because it confuses people. xDD

So, yeah. =P
