Slowly. That's how the day was going by. Too slowly for her taste. Her green eyes grew more and more heavy as she was pressing forward in her paperwork. Tiredly, she looked towards her window. Allowing her vision to linger over the sunny sky, the few white fluffy clouds, and the freshness in the crisp breeze, she realized how trapped she really was in there. How she longed to be out there! It would be paradise to leave that stuffy office by now. She had lost all interest in her work by now.
The song of a bird filled her ear. Oh, compared to the silence of the books, it was such a brilliant, vibrant sound to hear. It made her want to just relax and...no! She couldn't fall asleep! She had a lot more work to do. Not that she really cared for her work, but a certain assistant of hers would probably flip out.
Tsunade couldn't stand it! Was there nothing to do but accept the fact that she was about to get scolded by her assistant? No! She would not give in to Shizune! not that easily.
She was getting ready to just walk out herself, do a little gambling, drink a cup of sake or two, and then go back. Even if it were only a sip of sake outside for five minutes, she'd be very happy. A small donation of time and a small portion of money could both get her out of there and get her exactly what she needed--a cup of sake.
Either way, she couldn't stomach it any more. This silence...this agonizing reading...ugh! What a boring day it was, too. It's not like anything important was happening.
She wearily looked back down at her book, figuring that she didn't want to be bothered too much by Shizune. She would only verbally tie her to her seat, anyway. She just heaved a great sigh, tapping her pen furiously on her desk.
Finally, she decided to take charge. She was, after all, the Hokage. "Shizune, I feel like I'm going to die in here. I need a rest," she said rather bluntly. "Can't we give this whole studying thing a rest for once?"
There sat the Hokage, waiting for a scolding from her assistant. It's not that she was 'afraid of Shizune, but she sure wasn't too comfortable when she got so tense. She just rolled her eyes before closing them, putting her head down on her desk. *This should be an interesting response,* she thought as a small smirk curled across her lips.

Shizune stood beside Tsunade's chair, keeping her dark eyes locked on the Hokage, watching for that first sign of frustration. She knew that Tsunade had trouble keeping her mind on work, especially on beautiful days-- afternoons, to be specific -- like this. Shizune allowed herself to look outside. The sky was an exquisite blue, with a few patches of cloud decorating it. The trees danced in the breeze. A small smile graced Shizune's lips. She knew how trapped Tsunade must feel. The office was unbearably stuffy, the air thick even for Tonton, who was oinking and squirming in his sleep.
Maybe...Shizune thought. Just this once, I could let Tsunade-sama cut work early. This is torture. Shizune gave her head a small shake. No way was Tsuande getting off that easily.
A small sigh escaped the jounin's lips as she returned her gaze to the Hokage, who looked like she was about to walk out by herself. Shizune scowled, ready to pounce at Tsunade if she dared to stand. Thankfully, the blonde stayed in her seat, only to tap her pen relentlessly upon the book in front of her.
Shizune raised an eyebrow. Tsunade had let out that first complaint. It was the usual "I don't want to work, I'd rather be outside" rant. Shizune had almsot never been affected by it, giving in only when she could stand the complaints no longer. Thanks to her patience, this had happened maybe twice.
"You know that I can't allow that, Tsunade-sama," Shizune scolded. "This is important studying. You'll need this for the near future."
It was the same thing every time. Though, on times like this, Shizune could almost agree with Tsunade. The office was totally unbearable. Fed up with the stuffy room, Shizune walked over to the window and opened it. She breathed in the fresh, clean air, relishing the change from that in the office. Why didn't I do this sooner? she asked herself, closing her eyes and smiling.
"Although... if you get your work done soon enough, we can go out for a while," Shizune tempted, turning back to the Hokage. "But only if you hurry."
((Hope you don't mind my colors))

Ah, the usual response. It got so old--especially on a bright and sunny day like this. Tsunade could have been trying her luck on the slots. Why did Shizune need to coop her up in that stuffy office all the time? Surely there was a better way for the Hokage to get her work done. I mean, what would filing all this pointless paperwork do for her?
Wait...why was she giving in? She was the Hokage! The most powerful shinobi in all of Konoha! Why was she letting her underling jounin boss her around?! She could easily defeat her in a battle. But...no. She cared about Shizune, even if she annoyed the crap out of her in times like this. She let out a sigh, letting her eyes drift upon the black and white lettering in the documents. How tedious. Why did it all seem to mesh together now? It was most likely because she had been at it for so long...or so, she thought. *What?!* she thought as she looked at the clock. *It's only been an hour?* Her head seemed heavy on her shoulders now. To some, an hour would seem like a decently long amount of time. But, considering the fact that Shizune would keep her in there for more than three hours at a time, maybe longer, it seemed as if the day was going by very slowly.
Suddenly, a glisten of hope arose from the mouth of her assistant. A compromise? If she hurried, they'd be able to escape that damned office for a while! Why hadn't she said sooner? Tsunade's lips curled into a smirk at first, her face still turned down into her book. *So, Shizune's suffocating in this airless office as well?*
Her smirk fell off her face as she looked up from the papers. Of course, she was going to hurry in the paperwork. Yet, there was no chance that she was going to let Shizune *know* that she was giving in. No. That would show weakness. Looking up slowly, the blonde sighed, disgustedly. "Come on..." she said, trying to sound as gloomy as possible.
She instantly looked back down at the papers in front of her. How was she to get through them so quickly? Paperwork No Jutsu? She wished. All she could do, was try to focus her eyes on those words, read them, then write what she would need to write. Her green eyes flickered, attempting to keep open. She sighed once more as the same song from the same bird filled her ear. *Why me?* she thought to herself. *Why me?*
[OOC--Sorry that it's short. -.-]

It felt slightly surreal. As if by their own volition, her feet had walked her over here. Lenai Arina, orphan child and pathetically weak ninja chick, was going to request permission to leave the village. Joy, she thought hopelessly as she collected the pieces of her scattered mind, I've grown a backbone. Who'd have thought?
Daisuke waited patiently outside the door. He didn't like leaving her side any more than she liked him leaving, but at least this way she didn't look like a child who needed a comfort all the time. Which she did, she had to admit. He had protested in his way, and even went so far as to sit in front of the door and not move until she had to grow quite stern with him. He was still sulking. If this went well she'd send him off to find Akemiri perhaps. She could trust Ake-chan to take care of him while she was gone. As low-risk as this was likely to be, she never wanted him on missions. It was too easy for him to get hurt.
She took a deep breath and knocked on the door in a very small way. "Tsunade-sama?" she said tentatively, "Excuse me. May I speak with you?"
What was she doing here? Her heart raced and her mind went in circles. A pathetic little genin. A sad little orphan child, nobody bothered with her so why should she bother with anyone else? She was alone, that was true, so what did it matter how strong she was compared with other ninja that were most likely more qualified for their positions than she could ever be for hers. She should have been a librarian, a medical ninja at the very least. Her father's legacy. Her father was DEAD. He wouldn't care...
She shoved those thoughts away and came in quietly. "Pardon me Tsunade-sama, but I'm afraid I have a favor to ask..."

Shizune smiled. Her small temptation had worked, though Tsunade wouldn’t show it. She knew that Tsunade couldn’t pass up a chance to go outside, and though Shizune didn’t approve of Tsunade’s gambling habits, it certainly got the Hokage motivated. Good thing, too, because Shizune felt like she’d suffocate in the muggy office if she stayed much longer. How could it be so stuffy inside, when it was beautiful, and slightly breezy, outside? It just didn’t make sense to her.
Shizune glanced at Tsunade, to ensure that she was working, or at the very least, trying, before turning back to the window. What a lovely day, Shizune thought. And soon enough, she’d be among the shinobi out there, walking around and enjoying the fresh air. That is, if Tsunade finished her work in a reasonable amount of time. No matter how much Shizune wanted to, she couldn’t just say ‘Cut work, we’re going out.’ No. It was her job to watch over Tsunade, to make sure her duties as Hokage were taken care of.
Sighing, Shizune turned back to Tsunade. How much progress has she made so far? Shizune asked herself. Peering over the Hokage’s shoulder, she inwardly groaned. Hardly any. Though Shizune couldn’t blame her; who could focus in such conditions? Not many people. And because Tsunade’s nature made it that much more difficult for her, Shizune knew it’d take longer than the hour they’d been in here for the paperwork to be done.
Someone’s knock at the door tore Shizune from her thoughts. Wonder who it is she asked herself. I just hope it’s not a jounin with more paperwork… Shizune’s wish came true; a genin walked in, and Shizune recognized her as Lenai Arina. She had looked over Arina’s profile a few times before. But, what could she want now?“Hello, Arina-san. What is the favor?” (( So, so, so, SO sorry for the wait, and that it’s short. My muse is totally dead x.x))

Her eyes scanning over the book reluctantly, the sanin heard knocking. Looking up, a bit startled by the unexpected noise, a young girl came into her view. Her amber eyes were as dull as they were when she had been reading, yet, she scanned the girl, as if she were words on a page. It was the genin by the name of Lenai Arina. As Hokage, she knew her name and ability, yet, she didn't know the girl personally.
Pondering what the girl wanted, she gazed into her bright blue eyes, as if she were trying to get inside the girl's mind and take a look. Thankfully for her, it didn't seem as if the girl was about to request a mission... No...not at all.It was something big, however. Closing her eyes for a moment, Tsunade inwardly wished that no paperwork would be involved.
Lacing her fingers together and placing her elbows on her desk, she rested her chin in the small cradle she had just made. As Shizune talked for her, she just kept an alert ear, trying to ready herself for anything that Arina would say to her. Her dull eyes grew a bit sharp with seriousness.
The birds chirped noisily now, but she could hardly hear them. When she wanted to, Tsunade could have excellent concentration. How else would she have become Hokage? She knew that this fact probably burned Shizune up on the inside. But what did she care? It wasn't completely her fault. She was sure that, underneath it all, the jounin wanted to escape that crammed room just as much as she did. The entire time, Shizune was probably sitting there, thinking about how nice an escape into that beautiful day would be, yet, as to set a good example for her, Shizune wouldn't budge. The corner of her mouth turned upwards--how stubborn that girl was!
Also, how could one be so strict on such a day? For her, the heat tended to melt her stubborn on work. This was not very good in this case, considering that she had so many papers to fill out, so many things to write down, so much...everything. Everything, that was, except relaxation. Oh, what she would have given then for just one small bottle of sake. Ah, that small bottle of elixir would slake her undying thirst and make her day. But no. There was no sake around...
She shook herself inwardly. She was allowing her train of thought to drift away. She had to be alert to listen to Arina. Her sharp green optics focused in on the girl. She looked not at her mouth or her posture but her eyes. The eyes were window--not only to one's heart, but also to one's mind. That was one of Tsunade's philosophies. Gazing endless into the windows that were Arina's eyes, she kept focused, hoping not to get distracted again. This was more of her duty than shuffling papers around. She had to keep her ears open, her mind sane and on-topic, and her gaze focused into her eyes.

For half a second, Arina froze in her tracks. Her mind went blank and she wondered why in the world she had put herself in this position. She wasn't used to being seen. Of course, people had looked at her before, but she was background. Arina liked being background. It was safer, no one could mention you later to anyone else, no one could feel sorry for you, and no one could notice that you were alone. Lenai Arina wasn't the kind of person who was seen. With her invisibility stripped away, Arina nearly froze.
Thankfully her long-time hiding of her emotions kicked in. Her face assumed an expression of polite blankness, and she remained outwardly composed. Her mind raced to collect its scattered contents, and Arina coughed once to hide the pause.
Shizune addressed her and Arina's mind snapped back into position. She composed herself and looked down, allowing the Hokage's fierce gaze to intimidate her slightly. She held both of the women in the highest esteem. Shizune was a poison ninja like herself, albeit much more advanced. She looked back up and allowed herself a small, rueful grin. Much more advanced.
The Hokage, Tsunade-sama herself, was a bit more of a mystery. Arina had never probed too deeply as to the personality of her Hokage, having no real interest in requesting missions and not really expecting to rise to any sort of high-ranking position. Therefore she tread lightly here, not only because of the nature of her request but because she wasn't anywhere near certain how the woman would react to it.
"The…different…kind of favor Shizune-sama," she said, allowing a bit of a waver into her voice. She took a deep breath. “You’re aware of my situation, I’m sure,” she continued in a more businesslike tone, although she kept the polite detachment to everything she was saying. Otherwise she wasn’t certain if she wouldn’t start crying right in the office. She found that if she said it quickly, it didn’t hurt as much. “There’s something that I’ve recently remembered. My father was a ninja…There’s something…” she searched for words, “It’s in the nature of an inheritance, I suppose.” That was as good a word as any for it. She was certain that her father would have given it to her eventually if he had the opportunity.

Shizune stared at Arina, as the genin seemed to freeze suddenly. Was she shy? Or maybe she was nervous, due to having the Hokage’s attention to herself. Tsunade’s gaze probably wasn’t helping. Shizune knew that look; Tsunade was trying to read Arina, trying to find out what she wanted without using words. Some were uncomfortable under it, some were scared of it, and others hardly noticed it. Which of these was Arina? Shizune tried to relax the genin by giving her a small, yet comforting smile.
Shizune silently hoped this wouldn’t take too long. Tsunade still had much work to do, many papers to fill out or read, and it felt like this office was getting hotter by the second. Even Tonton, still snoozing in the corner, began to shift in his sleep, small oinks of complaint escaping him. Shizune felt awful for keeping him in here. This place was much too stuffy for anything to be inside it. She wondered how Arina could put up with this; the girl hardly seemed to notice the heat. Shizune envied her, just a little. Once Tsunade-sama’s work is done, the both of us, and Tonton, can go outside, as well Shizune reminded herself. Just wait a little longer… just a little
Snapping back to reality, Shizune realized that Arina had started to explain herself. Her situation, yes of course. Recently remembered… her father, who was, of course, a ninja. Inheritance? This intrigued Shizune, poking at her interest. What kind of inheritance? She wondered, knowing full well it was none of her business.
“Oh?” Shizune asked, tilting her head to the side. “I suppose… you need Tsunade-sama’s permission to leave the village to go and claim it?” Was it safe to let Arina go by herself? Shizune wondered where the genin was going, what she would have to go through. It couldn’t be very difficult; it was just a mission, of sorts, to go and find something of her father’s. But still… Shizune couldn’t help but wonder what lay ahead for Arina.
“Where exactly do you have to go, Arina-san?”

*Damn right she needs my permission to go out of this village.* Tsunade was a bit grateful that Arina had the common sense to come visit her first.
Now, thus far, the story was that Arina's father had left her an inheritance that was to be claimed in a different village. The Hokage was pretty sure on what she had to do. First--she would need to know the village that Arina would be going to, as Shizune had covered by asking her. Secondly--since Arina was just a genin, she would need to be escorted. There was no way that she would let Arina go alone. It would be dangerous. Then--she would need to think of someone that would be good to accompany Arina.
Tsunade already knew what basic type of person she would have accompany the blond genin. Definitely, they would be a jounin. She knew well that the genin and chunin of the leaf were capable as well, but, Tsunade didn't have too much experience dealing with this Arina girl. Not only that, but, since there were a select handful of jounin home from missions at the time, Tsunade figured that an escorting mission, a simple C-ranked task, would be a walk in the park for one of them.
But who...? Who exactly would she send...
Just then, a thought came to her mind. From what she knew about Arina, she was a poison specialist. That reminded her of a certain jounin that was currently in the room. Her eyes drifted toward Shizune. She looked between the two, who seemed to be doing all the talking in the current conversation anyway. Shizune *would* be a good choice for this mission.
Tsunade inwardly shook her head. No. She would have to wait for details on where the girl was going before she would make her choice. For all she knew, she would have to send a team. But that, of course, would only be if the place she was going was very far from Konohagakure.
{Sorry. My muse is on low. Just tell me if it needs editing or anything. ^^}

Arina inwardly winced. There's the sticking point. Most people would back off at the next point, but with a quick study of the two women she knew she'd definitely be kept until both of their curiosities had been satisfied. And as much as Arina could hold herself back, it was still as painful as it had been that very day...
She cleared her head of those thoughts and looked at Shizune again. She might be sympathetic if Arina showed a bit of weakness at the thought, but even a slight glance of the Hokage seemed to say that she'd receive most signs of weakness with scorn. And that's who I've got to get permission from, Arina reminded herself, so that's who I'm chiefly worried about.
She offered both a small, shy smile, perfectly rehearsed and executed. She wished futilely for Daisuke, knowing full well she'd made the right decision leaving him outside. He'd have sensed her unease by now and licked her hand or some such thing, and she'd have gone to pieces entirely.
Her mind fighting the words back at every syllable, she set herself a bit and said, very clearly and deliberately, "I've got to go back to Juujiro. My original home." That seemed to break it, but she chose the rest of her words carefully just the same. "My father had a large book of poisons and a few jutsus that he and our line developed. It was in our cellar, so the person who destroyed-" she faltered for half a second and continued, "The person who destroyed Juujiro didn't find it, nor is it likely that anyone else has found it. There is one other thing..."
She really stopped this time. Arina's mind turned back to the first time her father proudly showed her the weapons he had finally finished developing, right before Mother clouted him for putting something that sharp into the hands of a two year old, "These are the family treasures Rina. Sharp as anything, thin and strong. And always poisoned, remember that Arina, always poisoned. These are my legacy my dear, and the day you get your headband these are yours."
"My father's weaponry," Arina forced it out, half proud and half something close to defiant, gazing levelly straight back at the Hokage, "The Sanjuu Hasaki. The poisoned triple blade."

Shizune felt the Hokage’s eyes on her. She took a side glance, just in time to see Tsunade look back at Arina. She was puzzled; was Tsunade thinking of sending her to accompany Arina for her trip? Not that Shizune would mind, of course. She was a friendly person, but who would watch over Tsunade in her absence?
Maybe Tsunade will do her work without me watching her… Shizune mentally rolled her eyes. She knew the blond Hokage to well for that. She knew that the second she was gone, Tsunade would leave the office and go gambling, or drinking. Or both. Who knew what kind of chaos that would bring? No one giving missions, no one in charge… Shizune nearly shuddered. Though it might’ve been fun, escorting Arina was out of the question. Unless Tsunade got someone else to watch over her, Shizune would have to stay here.
Poisons, hm? Shizune raised an eyebrow. I see. So that’s why Tsunade-sama was looking at me Shizune started to reconsider. It might not take very long… and since Arina uses poisons, I might be able to teach her a few things Shizune knew the decision was entirely up to Tsunade, and she respected that. But she couldn’t help wondering what Arina already knew about poisons, what she could do with them. Probably not very much, being that she’s still a genin Shizune thought. But maybe if I trained her a little… She’d be a chuunin in no time. She liked the idea of having a student, having someone to look up to her. But, would it really be fair to teach just one genin? Or would she be assigned a team?
Again; entirely up to Tsunade.
Poison triple blade… Again, something poked at Shizune’s interest. She knew better than to get her hopes high, but she wondered what this weapon could do, wondered what it looked like. Was it just a sort of sword with three blades? Or was it more complex? Did it have any special techniques? Too many questions for Shizune to handle right now. Arina’s request was the main concern.
“Well, you’ll need an escort then,” Shizune gave a small smile, looking back at Arina. The blond genin seemed to have a few things going on in her heard, too. “Of course, it isn’t my decision. It’s up to Tsunade-sama to pick the person.”
((Well, it’s short, and I didn’t have time to add all my pretty codes. But I posted =D See you when I get back ))

Alright. Arina would obviously need an escort. The question was who...
Shizune would be an obvious choice. She figured that the dark-eyed Jounin would like the opportunity as well, being they both specialized in poison. The one factor that Shizune was probably considering right then and there was that her going away would mean the Hokage would be without an assistant. Tsunade, of course, didn't mind this. Hell, she'd be glad to get a break from Shizune's watchful eye. Yet, it was also obvious that there was no way that Shizune would go without Tsunade finding a replacement for her. She closed her eyes, smirked, and let out a sigh. The day that her assistant would give her some slack would be the day pigs could fly and hell froze over.
"Hmm..."
She pondered on what to do. Would she send Shizune? Would the Jounin go? Well, the Jounin deserved to do something a little bit pleasing as well. After all, she had managed to keep Tsunade in line. The blond knew very well that the Jounin's interest probably spiked and her mind most likely filled with questions. Poisoned Triple blade? Sounded like something Shizune would be interested in seeing for herself. Same with teaching Arina some jutsu and the like.
That was it. Her mind was made up. She would send Shizune to accompany Arina. She'd also suggest training her while they were together.
"Well, being your specialty is poison, Arina, I think that it would be logical to send Shizune with you."
Saying this, she turned her head towards Shizune and opened her eyes.
"Don't worry about me, Shizune," she said with a smirk. "Tonton'll take good care of me." The Hokage stifled a laugh. "But, if you're really concerned about my duties, I'll make sure to get someone to watch after me." Her smirk remained on her face. Of course, she would be taking quite a few breaks from her work, but, Shizune didn't have to be told to know that.
Obviously, Tsunade didn't really care if her assistant knew or didn't know that she would be slacking slightly, but she would work a bit. It wouldn't be total chaos. She could trust her....a little.

Arina was half-choking on the word "escort". This was not according to plan. Yes she was a genin. Yes, on the off chance she got attacked on the way by anyone genuinely good she'd be dead within minutes. But this wasn't a mission really, and most of the way was along a fairly well-traveled road. She swallowed hard.
Not only that...She admitted to herself that this would most likely be incredibly difficult for her. Even the thought of returning to her home made her a little uncomfortable. There were so many memories there, and they all ended in blood and blind terror.
"I'll be honored to have Shizune-sama traveling with me," she said without missing a beat, and a sweet smile for good measure. If this was the only way to get through it, then so be it. At least a nice by-product of this detour was she was getting to work with one of the most impressive poison ninjas she had ever heard of.
New development assessed, Arina's mind turned to other things. Someone would have to tell Akemiri, and she'd have to ask her to take care of Daisuke while she was away. "Tsunade-sama," she addressed her Hokage tentatively, "I'll have to tell my teammate, Akemiri. Would you happen to know where she is?"
A sudden burst of though produced another question, "And Shizune-sama, when do you think you'll be ready to leave? I could be ready any time really, but Akemiri-chan will probably want to know..." She gulped, and once again wondered what the heck she was doing there. She could have easily left and returned before anyone noticed she was missing. Actually, she probably could have left, died somewhere, and never be noticed missing at all.

Shizune had mixed feelings concerning Tsunade’s decision. She wanted to go with Arina, and wanted to see this weapon of hers. Seeing what the genin was capable of was also tempting. Though, she didn’t want to leave Tsunade alone. So... what should I do? the jounin wondered, closing her eyes to think. Well, I can leave with Arina, once I know that Tsunade’s found a trustworthy replacement. This choice seemed to take care of both her problems, but just how long would it take to find a temporary assistant? She couldn’t hold Arina for too long. Though, there’s many people to choose from in Konoha, and since it’d be an order from the Hokage, no one would really be able to refuse.
Her mind made up, Shizune opened her eyes, and smiled at Arina. “I’ll be ready once Tsunade-sama has found a temporary assistant. I’m sorry, but I won’t feel very comfortable leaving her alone for too long,” She added, taking a side glance at Tsunade, before turning to her. “Thank you for the assignment. Would you happen to have anyone in mind?” No, Tonton did not count as an assistant. She loved Tonton as a pet, but he wouldn’t be able to keep Tsunade focused.
“Out of curiosity Arina, just how far away is your village?” Shizune would need to know what to prepare for; would it take a few weeks, or would the journey be over in a matter of days? “Also, if you’re interested, and if Tsunade-sama would allow it, would you like me to train you a little afterwards?”

Her smirk widened. Brown eyes sparkled slightly with the most evil of delights. Shizune was thinking just what she imagined. Heh. An assistant. Of *course* Shizune wouldn't let her alone with Tonton. It would be unlike her.
Sure, Tonton was a hell of a pet, and a cutie at that, but there was no way whatsoever that he would be able to keep her in line. Or was there... Tsunade shook this rather odd thought out of her mind quickly, her smirk fading slightly at the slight chance that a pig might be able to keep her in line. Well, with a little sake...and promises of fresh air...
No! What was she thinking?
*... I really need to get out of this stuffy hell of an office,* she thought, twitching on the inside.
Now, to Shizune's question...
Did she have anyone in mind? Did she...Did she...? Nope. No one whatsoever. She sighed. Time to start thinking about it.
There was no chance she would leave it up to a Jounin. No... The Jounin were all busy with their missions to be helping her out. They had to train, go on missions, come back from missions, and then train some more. Ugh. What a rough time for the Jounin...
Anyway....
There was no way Shizune would let her pick a Genin. Shizune was smart enough to see that the Genin would probably piss her off to no end.
She felt that Anbu were out of the question, thus, making the only available rank a Chunin. A lot of Chunin were out on missions as well... But, not nearly as many as the Jounin. There was the option of asking Sakura. That quickly faded out of her mind, being that Sakura would most likely be busy training as well. She had to put up with a lot of shit from Naruto and Sai as is.
She had been looking over the file of Chunin not too long ago. She opened it from the mark she had at Sakura's name.
Haruno Sakura... Hikure Narenji... Hitamatori Akuma... Hyuuga Hinata...
Those were the Chunin that's names began with "H".
Narenji, Akuma, and Hinata... The possible candidates for her temporary assistant. First, she had to tell Shizune about her thoughts.
"Maybe one of the Chunin could fill in for you, Shizune. I was just looking at a list of names for "H" Chunin, and I found four... I figured not Sakura, being that she's going through enough hell with Naruto and Sai, but maybe Hikure Narenji, Hitamatori Akuma, or Hyuuga Hinata?"
She shrugged.
"And I give you my full permission to train Arina when this mission is over, Shizune."
Tsunade returned to smirking. She figured that her assistant would enjoy having a pupil of her own.
"Think of it as a...'reward for service'," the Hokage said, as her smirk widened. "I'll take it easy on my new assistant, too. That is...if you had a problem with Tonton taking care of me."
She decided to let Arina answer Shizune's question about her old village. She expected it wouldn't take too, too long, yet, it wouldn't be too short of a trip, either.
