Canon Character's Full Name:
Haruno, Sakura
Question #1: How do you see the character and what do you think of it?
I see Sakura as strong and independent. When we first meet her in the series she seems like your average girl, caught in between child and teenager, timid yet curious. Like all young girls, the concept of a boy being more than just smelly and annoying is starting to sink in. In fact, all Sakura really thinks about is Sasuke through most of the first part of the series, which becomes a large distraction in the midst of battle. Although, when it’s down to the wire, she manages to push those thoughts aside and prove to Team 7 that she is more than just a frightened little girl.
When Sasuke abandoned Konoha, Sakura was crushed. She and Naruto took this blow the hardest, and at first it appeared Sakura would never get over it. Though, to everyone’s surprise, she did. She turned the pain that the loss of Sasuke caused her into pure determination, determination to become stronger in order to bring him back to Konoha. Sakura began her training to be a medical ninja with Lady Tsunade.
At the start of part two, we see just how much Sakura has changed, and not just in appearance. She has become a mature young woman, stronger than she ever was before. She is no longer the timid little girl that she use to be, hiding her real feelings and opinions (AKA. “Inner Sakura”). Now, she is no longer afraid to tell you exactly what on her mind. Once Naruto arrives back in the village, together their resolve to bring back Sasuke grows. At the slightest word of Orochimaru’s whereabouts, they’re ready with hope of Sasuke being there with him. Even though he left the village, Sakura still believes that a part of him remains loyal to Konoha. Anyone who thinks otherwise, is sure to get a piece of her mind (And probably a fist to the face too!).
Question #2: Why do you think you can play this character properly?
I believe I can play the role of Sakura Haruno for a few reasons. For one, I’m a girl and I can relate to where she is coming from. She always was in a male-dominant environment, which is a difficult situation on any girl. I can relate to how she felt as if she was just a weight on Team 7 at first, because she was not that useful in battle. Her unrequited love for Sasuke is yet another part of her that I bet all girls could say they felt at one point or another. Though, throughout the story, she continues to surprise us with her cunning and independent personality, proving that when it comes down to it girls can succeed in anything, as long as they have the will and determination to push on.
Reason number two? I have a lot of experience in role playing. I’ve been doing it for at least four years, maybe more, and have played countless characters (both canon and original). The role of Sakura Haruno is quite similar to some of my own original characters, with her strong, determined personality and even the types of friends she has. I believe my understanding of various other characters, should help me play Sakura to the best of my ability. Although this is my first Naruto RPG, I believe I have the knowledge to understand the plot and each character in order to fulfill my role sufficiently.

((This is from another site, a Bleach RP, actually. The character is an original character (obviously! ) and Captain of Squad Nine.))
"Captain? Captain?!?"
"She's not waking up, is she?"
"Aww, geez...just what I'd expect from a newbie..."
"Shush! She may hear you!"
"I don't think she can hear anything really..."
"You don't think she's..."
"No! She's breathing...I think...Captain!!"
The captain of squad 9 was very much awake actually, just not in a responsive state of mind. In fact, she was in another world in her mind, her Inner World. Kohana Suzuki was sitting in a small, sun-dappled meadow in the middle of a dense forest. A slight breeze blew from a distance and carried flower petals and their dizzying aroma's on it as it danced past her figure. Her breathing was deep and silent, she sat cross-legged in the meadow's center, her hands brushing the stems of the flowers. She was directly mirroring a specific flower, larger and more elaborate than all the others, native only to her Inner World. It was all the colors in the rainbow and had petals as large as Kohana's head, and in its center sat a most peculiar creature. A pixie, no larger than Kohana's hand, was sitting in the same position as the young woman in front of her. Her tiny face was passive, matching Kohana's, both were at ease with nature. This was the spirit of her zanpaku-to...Azarni...
"Captain!!"
"Did she just pass out on the grass...?"
"That's the fourth time this week!"
"She's gonna be late for yet another Captain's meeting...typical...someone kick her, that'll get her up!"
"No way! She could get angry!"
"Please, this tree-hugger? She doesn't know the emotion of angry... Captain! CAPTAIN!!!!"
Kohana winced as a sharp pain hit her rib. She opened her eyes to look around the meadow, but the meadow was gone. All that was left was numerous large black shapes and grass tickling her face,
"She's up...finally! See, I told you it would work."
"A bit unconventional, but you have a point, she is up."
"Captain...?"
She turned her face up to her squad members but immediately buried her face back in the ground when the sun hit her eyes with its fiery rays. She looked back up through squinting eyes,
"Y-yes...?"
Kohana responded slowly, her head still clouded with the memory of wild flower perfume. She managed to get up into a sitting position, her squad towered over her.
"Captain Suzuki, you're awake! You have to get up now!"
"Why?"
She mumbled and rubbed her eyes. I must have dozed off in the garden again... Kohana thought to herself, she turned and smiled at her fresh little garden.
"Captain! You must go, you are late!"
"Late for what?"
"The Captain's meeting started five minutes ago!!!"
Her squad said in unison. It took a moment for the message to get in. Slowly her eyes widened and she made a small curse under her breath. Kohana stood up in a rush and startled her squad back a few paces.
"Guess I better go, huh! So, bye I guess...I'll be back when it's over!"
She yelled over her shoulder as she ran in the direction of the first squad barracks. Of course, she didn't take the ten-foot wall in front of her into consideration. SLAM! Kohana's forehead collided with the stone wall, she yelped in pain and gripped the bump now forming there with one of her hands. The other hand she used to wave away her squad, who were now rushing to her aid,
"Captain!"
"Captain are you alright?!"
"...Typical..."
"She may have a concussion!!"
"I'm fine..."
She said her voice as strained as the smile on her face, her head pounded like steel drums.
"I'll just...you know, be on my...ugh...way..."
Kohana waved one last goodbye and was off in a flash step to the squad one barracks, to the Captain's Meeting...
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
"I could have sworn I was just here...oh no...I'm going around in circles!"
Kohana sighed and rubbed her throbbing head, the newly formed bump was now the size of a small rice ball and as red as strawberries. She stood in mid air over squad ten's barracks looking around to see where squad one's were...
"If I just came from the north then I should have gone south...or was that southeast...I really can't afford to be late...well more late than I already am..."
She mumbled to herself. Her eyes scanned the area, Squad Eight, Squads Seven and Six, Five, Four, Three...there's Two...ONE!!! Found you! Who knew all I had to do was look around for a moment... The gates of the squad one barracks could be seen in the distance, Kohana headed in its general direction...
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
"I'm here...sorry I'm late..."
Kohana murmured in her usual soft voice as the guards opened the doors to let her in. Most of the Captains were already present and waiting. She walked silently to the center of the room, bowed to each Captain to show respect, then made her way to the Captain position of squad nine. Kohana busied herself with brushing her brown bangs out of her eyes and adjusting her zanpaku-to at her hip to avoid the eyes of any disapproving, experienced captains. Oh, great! Just my luck! I run into a wall, get lost, then make a fool of myself in front of the entire Thirteen Court Guard Squad! Oh, well...I'll just...act casual...yeah...oh, boy...
