Differently from a very young Akuma, however, Sora never looked to become a hero due to sheer admiration towards what he had heard. His only desire is for his name to be respected, as he wishes to hold a position in which his word would count; purely selfish, as such. For this, he works hard and researches into the secrets of chakra manipulation and his clan's kekkei genkai with unshaken resolve. When requesting for missions, Sora wishes for those of the most difficult nature to be handed to him, and he would push his limits as far as needed to complete every single task. With a big and hearty yawn, the boyish girl tore her eyes from the scenery of Mac Anu's riverside and the distorted buildings that the water reflected. This part of the Eternal City was always the same, only with different people to look at to pass the time; and there were no monsters, so it made a decent alternative even if the fields were prettier. If out there she would lie in the grass and watch the sun go down or some butterflies chase each other around, in here she focused on the players. During her first few visits, she had started with the few NPCs like the boat captains guiding their vessels along the river, but their routines were too easy to anticipate, so they hadn't been interesting for long.
Today, she had noticed a couple of pretty interesting figures. One of them, a petite black-haired girl (a Harvest Cleric, Hito had chanced a guess), was an obvious newcomer. She couldn't have been more blatant if she had been shouting 'newbie' to the entire server on a public channel. In technical terms, Hito had no room to speak since she hadn't done anything for the most part and was close to just as weak as that player. But at least the PKers saw her there every day and usually left her alone; only those she met on fields really took any interest and she had been through her share of unpleasant game experiences. That one had been different though. Since she was new, they could actually act like good nice people and suggest an area she should start her training in.
That made the difference; if Hito warped to a field, they wouldn't know where to look for her; so, she wasn't worth sitting around for, while the Harvest girl was likely to be where they'd instructed her to go. Sometimes, PKers who hadn't seen her before still tried that kind of feat on Hito. And she wasn't going to get any superiority complexes over her knowledge that allowed her to refuse their offers. She was only aware of what would come out of it because she had fallen for that trick the first time, of course. She had heard of similar beginnings from the older players, too.
Had she been a different sort of person, Hito would have tried to stop the girl and to explain to her what kind of trick those players were actually pulling. By sitting there every day and looking around, she had noticed a few players who actually did this kind of things. But she didn't see the point in gaining enemies for just that; after all, the girl was going to learn a valuable lesson there and it wasn't like she was gonna be murdered in real life or anything. She was just going to see one of the game's less shiny friendly facets and that was it. If such aspects could be enough to make her quit, then maybe it was better for her to do that in the first place. It was her decision.
Hito would normally not even think of that, but she had been putting herself on moral trials over this matter ever since that guy had walked up to her and told her she shouldn't just sit there doing nothing when she could be helping a new player. Like she usually did, she had weighed his arguments and admitted that he was right in a way. But then again, there were multiple ways of being right about the same thing. The ninja can also hurl a projectile which is covered in these same flames. To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai.

With a big and hearty yawn, the boyish girl tore her eyes from the scenery of Mac Anu's riverside and the distorted buildings that the water reflected. This part of the Eternal City was always the same, only with different people to look at to pass the time; and there were no monsters, so it made a decent alternative even if the fields were prettier. If out there she would lie in the grass and watch the sun go down or some butterflies chase each other around, in here she focused on the players. During her first few visits, she had started with the few NPCs like the boat captains guiding their vessels along the river, but their routines were too easy to anticipate, so they hadn't been interesting for long.
Today, she had noticed a couple of pretty interesting figures. One of them, a petite black-haired girl (a Harvest Cleric, Hito had chanced a guess), was an obvious newcomer. She couldn't have been more blatant if she had been shouting 'newbie' to the entire server on a public channel. In technical terms, Hito had no room to speak since she hadn't done anything for the most part and was close to just as weak as that player. But at least the PKers saw her there every day and usually left her alone; only those she met on fields really took any interest and she had been through her share of unpleasant game experiences. That one had been different though. Since she was new, they could actually act like good nice people and suggest an area she should start her training in.
That made the difference; if Hito warped to a field, they wouldn't know where to look for her; so, she wasn't worth sitting around for, while the Harvest girl was likely to be where they'd instructed her to go. Sometimes, PKers who hadn't seen her before still tried that kind of feat on Hito. And she wasn't going to get any superiority complexes over her knowledge that allowed her to refuse their offers. She was only aware of what would come out of it because she had fallen for that trick the first time, of course. She had heard of similar beginnings from the older players, too.
Had she been a different sort of person, Hito would have tried to stop the girl and to explain to her what kind of trick those players were actually pulling. By sitting there every day and looking around, she had noticed a few players who actually did this kind of things. But she didn't see the point in gaining enemies for just that; after all, the girl was going to learn a valuable lesson there and it wasn't like she was gonna be murdered in real life or anything. She was just going to see one of the game's less shiny friendly facets and that was it. If such aspects could be enough to make her quit, then maybe it was better for her to do that in the first place. It was her decision.
Hito would normally not even think of that, but she had been putting herself on moral trials over this matter ever since that guy had walked up to her and told her she shouldn't just sit there doing nothing when she could be helping a new player. Like she usually did, she had weighed his arguments and admitted that he was right in a way. But then again, there were multiple ways of being right about the same thing. And that was about where he had lost his patience and given up on persuading her. It was funny, since his words had actually hit closer to home than he had thought, after Hito had had some time to think. She doubted it was enough to change her, but she was definitely going to remember him every time she saw something like that again.
All things had limits, however. Tired of turning the same matter around in her head, she stood up and glanced about with lively enthusiasm, looking for something or someone to tag along to. She needed some sort of change from just sitting here. Despite her hopes, no occasion in particular presented itself so she just went right and turned the nearest corner, heading for the market. Interesting things usually started there more often than in other places and it was where someone would most likely approach her if they felt like it. She had even been asked to replace someone as shopkeeper in exchange for coins one time, but that was probably the one thing she'd refuse; she had enough of selling things in real life.
Excluding that kind of pastime, she was sure she'd soon discover a way to kill the time she had left until bedtime. Scratch that, it was past bedtime already, but she didn't feel particularly tired, so she was going to stay in "The World" for now. Or maybe go read a good book or watch a movieā¦ same thing, except she'd need to exit the game, then move to get it. The fact that on the other hand she was already here helped a lot with her decision. She wondered if she wasn't growing more attached to this place than she should. Hmm. Not unhealthy yet, since she wasn't gonna go out of her way for the game any time soon, so she was going to let things be.
