Canon Character's Full Name: Uzumaki Naruto
Question #1: How do you see the character and what do you think of it?
I see Naruto as someone who is always considered weak at first, always underestimated, something he proves them very wrong. He is one of those characters who push it through to the end, to never give up even through his hardships of being who he is, and yet, theres secrets about him, and he doesn't even know them himself.
He struggles to gain the love of a girl, and struggles to get the attention he wanted, and has set a goal, one he tends to keep on his mind to motivate himself. He also has to deal with the fact hes a jinchuricki, and thus he has a group of 9 ninjas after him.
I think that hes just too stuborn and dertermined to give up, and I like characters like that, because they keep their goals on mind, they never give up until the task is done by some means. They try hard to gain things, like respect, a girl, or other various precious things.
Question #2:Why do you think you can play this character properly?
Why do I think I can play Naruto properly? Well, for one, I act like him too much, goofy, energetic, dertermined, and a few other personality traits. I also have been playing Naruto in RP sites for 2+ years now, increasing not only my understanding of him, but ways to expand that out in posts.
Hes a complex character, but not one where someone wouldn't be able to understand him and portray him. He is merely a misunderstood, underestimated, and yet very dertermined kid, and I know how that feels.
(Will get to the questions ASAP)
Requirement:
The sky was like the canvas of a painter, the strokes of friary red in the sky from the setting sun were bright and glowed with a distinct purpose. A light wind picked up, a slight shill ran threw the air, hinting of the fast approaching Autumn. The leaves on the trees were starting to fade and the tips were beginning to turn a golden yellow.
Everything seemed so peaceful. Young Academy students were out playing near the edge of the forest, people were fading back into their homes, coming home from a long days work. There was a heavy scent of cooking food traveling around the now city like village of Hidden Leaf. Older students, young Genin were seen sparring and practicing with each other in the alleyways, some were spotted racing through the tree-tops as they fought with each other. Some teams were being supervised by their leaders, and a few Chunin's were out and about.
But underneath the calm streets there slept a great power. Uchiha Sasuke, captured by his own friends he was kept locked up tight in an underground prison. During the last fight he'd switched sides and helped Naruto fight against Orochimaru. With Sasuke's added power, they managed to overcome the Snake Demon. Sasuke..shocked by this turn of events..was too stunned to realize the fate that was placed upon him now. Hated in Hidden Leaf and Hidden Sound, Sasuke was a traitor to both nations. He would never be accepted by any other nation..nor would he ever be allowed to see the light of die again.
Sasuke growled lowly to himself, his arms were aching from being chained up, a blindfold had been placed over his eyes so he couldn't influence anyone with his Sharingan Abilities. He was thin, and ragged, having not eaten for days. He sat, chained to this stone wall, blindfolded and starved. This was his fifth night here..and so far..nothing good had happened. He half suspected Itachi was laughing at him. This thought lite a burning hellfire in his heart and in his mind, giving him the strength to continue on. He was even expecting his older brother to come and kill him while he was chained up here in this dark cell, then proceed to extract Kyuubi from Naruto and destroy the village.
Naruto...Sakura...Kakashi. Sasuke lifted his head and looked around, as though he could see through his blindfold. His thoughts began to race as memories began to pour back into his mind. He remembered their mission against Zabuza, how he'd awakened the Sharingan during the fight with Haku, and how Naruto had released the first of the nine tails of Kyuubi. It was strange really, how all their simple actions back then had lead to this. But then again..everything had ended..when Sasuke was nine years old. For it was then..Itachi showed his true colors, and killed everyone in their family but him. He remembered that night so vividly now. Sasuke struggled against his bonds slightly.
What he wouldn't give...what he wouldn't give to wrap his finger's around his brother's throat. What he wouldn't give to squeeze Itachi's vertebrate straight out through his windpipe! this was all Itachi's fault! If it wasn't for Itachi..NONE of this would have ever happened in the first place! Sasuke was an Avenger! And as an Avenger..he would do everything possible to seek revenge for his clan! Even if it meant selling his flesh to the devil!
But..was it really worth it? Sasuke calmed down as his thoughts began to stream again. He lowered his head, closing his eyes. Was all this really worth it? Was throwing away everything he had worth this? To be locked up in a cell and still have his older brother out there terrorizing the Nation of Ninja?! Why? WHY?! Why couldn't these simpletons see that Sasuke was doing all this for a purpose?! He was doing EVERYTHING to destroy Itachi before he destroyed the entire world! Why couldn't they see that? Why couldn't they all understand that Itachi was even more insane and even more powerful than Orochimaru ever was or ever could be?!
Why couldn't they see that he had merely been using Orochimaru to gain more power to destroy his brother? In the end..his plan was to take down all of them..Itachi, Orochimaru..all those cowards of hidden Sand, and Hidden sound. But..evidentally it was just too much to ask for.
Sasuke sighed to himself, and lifted his head once more, looking up at the ceiling as though he could see the sky. Who knows..only time would tell
